IoT Automate
Effective date: July 31, 2026 · Last updated: July 31, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Ingenzio ("we," "us," or the "Company"), which operates the IoT Automate product and platform, collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our website, web portal, mobile application, devices, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
1. Who We Are
Ingenzio is the operator of IoT Automate, an agricultural pump monitoring and control platform. For any privacy question or request, contact us at support@iot-automate.com.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Account information: name, email address, and login credentials.
- Organization and site information: organization name, site names, and related details you enter.
- Support communications: messages and information you send us when you request help.
2.2 Information from your use of the Services
- Device and telemetry data: data reported by your controller devices, such as pump status, pressure readings, tank levels, run history, commands issued, events, alerts, and diagnostic information.
- Usage and technical data: basic technical information such as device/browser type, app version, and log data used to operate and secure the Services.
2.3 Information we do not currently collect
- Location: we do not currently collect geographic location of users, sites, or devices. If we introduce location features in the future (for example, to map devices across a property, enable geofenced alerts, or support weather-based scheduling), we will update this Policy and, where required, ask for your consent before collecting location.
- Payment card data: we do not collect or store payment card numbers. Payments and subscriptions are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Your card data is provided directly to Stripe and handled under Stripe's privacy policy.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- provide, operate, monitor, and maintain the Services, including remote monitoring and control features;
- display device status, history, diagnostics, and alerts to you;
- manage your account, organization, and subscription;
- provide customer support and respond to your requests;
- secure the Services, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems;
- comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Third-Party Services We Use
We rely on a limited number of service providers to operate the Services. These providers process information only as needed to perform their function:
- Stripe: payment and subscription processing.
- Cloud and infrastructure providers: cloud hosting, database, and connected-device infrastructure used to run the platform.
- Error and diagnostic reporting: we may use error and crash reporting and similar diagnostic tools to detect and fix problems in the Services. If and when enabled, these tools may process limited technical and diagnostic data.
5. How We Share Information
We share information only:
- with the service providers described above, to operate the Services;
- within your organization, so that authorized members can access the organization's devices and data;
- if required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Services;
- in connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition), subject to this Policy.
We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties for their own marketing.
6. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business and legal purposes. Diagnostic and telemetry data is retained according to the plan and our operational retention schedule (for example, high-resolution samples for a shorter period and summarized history for longer). When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including access controls and encryption in transit. Devices use secure identity and boot protections. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to limit access to it.
8. Your Choices and Rights
You may access and update your account information through the Services, and you may request that we correct or delete personal information, subject to legal and operational limits. To make a request, contact us at the email above. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable data-protection law.
9. Children's Privacy
The Services are intended for use by farms, businesses, and adults. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after a change indicates acceptance of the updated Policy.
